RLMArena online Racing step-by-step tutorial by Nick1120
step-by-step RLMArena online racing guide
1. go to RLMArena.com and download RLMArena (download .net framework 2.0 if you do not already have it, or a newer version)
2. once everything is installed double click on the RLMArena logo on your desktop and make an account, if i remember correctly this is similar to registering for a forum
3. once your account has been created and you have logged in you should see a long list of server names by alphabetical order, find degapro
degapro is an open server and anyone with RLMArena can race with them, you do not have to sign up for thier league. however, if you do you will recieve points for your races.
go to degapros website for more info about what mods they run and when, unlike most leagues there is only 1 rule, cause 3 cautions in a race and you are kicked out for that race, however you may return the next.
you may also get kicked out for getting an admin mad at you. they usually start racing at about 8:00pm EST
4. when you find degapro in the list of servers, look to the right and see if anybody is there, for example if there are 3 people there, it would say 3 of 42
5. if there is a decent number of people there (about 6 or more) look to see if they are in a practice session, if they are click "Launch Race" in the top right corner.
ask whoever is there questions about how everything works, they will help you with what you need to know.
6. when you have raced enough to make a desision on whether you will continue doing this and you want to see some schemes that are on the other players cars, go to the RLMArena page (the one where you saw all of the server names) and click degapro, then up at the top you will see "degapros cfm"
click on it and choose the mod you would like to see the schemes for and download them.
7. enjoy your racing and if you have any questions feel free to create a topic at the new CRS forum.
